ENL is participating in a multi-national study proposal for the European Commission's INCO Programme entitled SEminpalatinsk Remediation - the KEY leading to the rescue of the Irtych basin (SERKEY). This project proposal is concerned with the remediation of the extensive water pollution caused by former industrisalisation in Kazachstan and includes partners from that country as well as several European countries under the leadership of The Department of Hydro-geology of Charles University, Prague.
