Background
D W Hood is primarily a contemporary visual artist, but also an autodidact with a wide field of general interests. He has had articles and papers published on topics of art history, theory of art and Scottish folklore. (see www.nefa.net)
He has recently contributed as a researcher, to ENL's work as a partner in KASSA, an international study of Sustainable Agriculture for the EC FP6 Programme.
Expertise
D W Hood is an ENL Member specializing in: fine art, web design, graphics, digital photographic manipulation, photography and other visual arts and IT areas. He is familiar with both traditional and digital techniques. He has a practical understanding of environmental issues informed by personal experience of subsistence hunting and small scale agriculture and horticulture.
