Background
Léonie ALEXANDER is a member of ENL and principal partner of The Wildlife Partnership. She is qualified in Zoology and Resource Management and has practical experience of a wide range of ecological survey techniques and practical management.
She has 20 years of experience working in the Scottish environmental sector on ecological assessment, mitigation, habitat management, habitat creation, ecological landscaping, practical habitat management.
She has worked for Scottish Wildlife Trust, Scottish Conservation Projects and the Nature Conservancy Council for Scotland (SNH). She then established in 1992 the consultancy arm of the Scottish Wildlife Trust, SWTES of which she was a Director. In 1998 she formed her own company - The Wildlife Partnership.
Her work with the Wildlife Partnership involves organising and undertaking ecological surveys including vegetation, faunal and protected species, ecological assessment, ecological landscaping, research and management planning.
Léonie also co-leads 'ENL Design and Build' which is concerned with environmental contracting - such as landscape and forestry design, ecological landscaping, practical nature conservation and habitat creation.
